El Gallo Giro - Lynwood

I absolutely love torta cubana, especially the double! However, the online ordering system was quite confusing. When I arrived to pick up my order, it wasn't ready because I had an outstanding balance. The prices listed online didn't match those in-store. They wouldn't prepare my food until I settled the balance. Instead of saving time, I ended up taking longer than if I had just ordered in person.

I will not be buying food here anymore. One of the tortas had a piece of glass in it. I absolutely hate to say this but I never thought I would encounter such a problem with this restaurant :

I absolutely love egg dishes; they're among my favorites. However, I understand that prices have risen due to COVID and inflation. But paying almost $20 for two carnitas tacos ($10 each) and a medium drink ($7) is just outrageous. Perhaps they could consider offering smaller street-style tacos at a more affordable price. I ended up changing my order from two tacos to one and a medium drink, and it still cost me $12, which seems excessive.

The Mexican food here is incredibly delicious! It's fresh and has a traditional flavor that is simply amazing.
