Imperial Cafe - Lynwood

Like most places, you have to know what to order here. Follow what everybody else is having the nasi lemak and hor fun noodles. The nasi lemak is cheap and generous, with coconut rice and in my opinion, one of the better sambals around. Even better, order it with the fried chicken cutlet. It is our go to nasi lemak in the area, better than any restaurant or takeaway from a shop (and just as cheap).

Their weekday deals are definitely worth it, generous in their serving and great value for money. Food have not disappoint and we've been back three times in a week since discovering them! Highly recommend, thoroughly underrated!

Go to Coles, buy a roast chicken, take it home, smother it in an entire bottle of sweet chilli sauce, add some boiled mushrooms and you've got their Imperial Chicken. 1 star for a big serving, -4 stars because it was a big serving of disappointment.

Not much flavour, but then again, they only delivered rice when I received my order.....I couldn't even contact them to give them a chance to fix it because the phone number they provided isn't connected!
