Isabella's Italian Trattoria

THIS! GLORIOUSLY amazing cuisine--and lovely presentation+atmosphere. This is where you should go if you are in Lynchburg or nearby for a truly beautiful dinner...we left a terribly expensive, pretentious, damp, unwelcoming, and desolate Shoemakers (it was pious and awful and made us feel as if ordering wine was against The Code--so no wonder the place was EMPTY) and discovered HEAVEN at this impeccable trattoria. We were lucky to get a table (and Ruthy, as our server) and ordered fabulous salads, eggplant, three appetizers, a terrifically cooked piece of steak. I was about to lose all faith in this part of the world in terms of food...but Isabella's is world-class. Brava.

We came here on a date before my graduation. Ruthy was an amazing server, incredibly attentive and personable. We will be coming back to Lynchburg and Isabella's in the future! Wonderful experience!

I loved the place and the food was so good I didn't like sauce in the pasta and i told the waitress I didn't like the sauce on the pasta and when the check came my mom she told me that they took out the pasta in the check

This is where we spend every birthday and anniversary. Delicious food, cocktails and great wait staff. Always enjoyable!

No complaints for me. Just know you’ll likely be spending more money than ya do at Olive Garden. Service was incredible. Drink cups were always full! Meals were delivered hot. Bread was delicious. Try the calamari. Zero regrets!
