Hawaii Poke Greens - Lynchburg

This place used to be great but my last two experiences here have been less than satisfactory. It was not fresh tasting, Kroger sushi tasted fresher than the sushi at Hawaii Poke. And just recently I order three rolls to go and they left one out. We tried to call multiple times and nobody answered. So I drove back to find two employees just sitting there playing on there phones.

I’m not a fan of walking into restaurants when they are trying to wrap things up and close, but tonight I did.This is A absolutely wonderful place with quality foods and great customer serviceShoutout Sydney and crew members for making me feel welcomed, even near closing time.

If you have an allergy to any ingredients commonly used in sushi BE VERY CAREFUL about eating here. I have a shellfish allergy, ordered something with my family for pickup. I (like any responsible person with food allergies) made a note on my order about my allergies, figuring that would be enough to prevent cross-contamination that could be deadly for me.Thank God I always check my food before I eat it. They packaged my roll with my sister’s California roll. And better yet, although we eventually talked the manager into a refund for food that through no fault of mine I literally cannot eat for my own safety, I still don’t think they understand why it was so dangerous to do.If you are allergic and choose to eat here, make sure you mark “pack in a different box; allergy” because apparently they don’t assume “allergy” means “cannot ingest something that has touched an allergen.”

Nice delicious poke bowls! They also give a lot of protein for the amount you pay too.

First visit today. Classice tuna poke bowl was huge. All ingredients were fresh and it was the bomb. Wife has Thai salad and loved it.We will be back. Better selection of drinks would be appreciated.
