Bidrage med feedbackI have eaten here several times since they've opened about a month ago. I live on Jefferson Street and love what has been happening here in the past year. This restaurant and the attached coffee shop are part of the good things happening. The menu at this restaurant has a selection of choices that you won't find in many other places in town. Good food in another of the old warehouses downtown that has been revitalized for commercial use and residential units. The food here is good. Thomas is a wonderful waiter. I can easily imagine having iced sweet tea and one of their appetizers for a light supper at a very affordable price for a retired guy like me. Addendum: I wouldn't normally consider myself a hamburger kind of guy. But after I read in the local newspaper that this restaurant sources their meat locally I thought I would try it out. It is a big burger and I like my meat medium rare and this is big enough that you can actually get it that way! And you can get the burger with one side included. Of course it normally comes with fries but then a helpful wait staff person told me I could get any side. So I've gotten asparagus a few times and also brussels sprouts. Both excellent alternatives to the standard fries. And at this point I would be bold enough to say this is the best burger in town. Before this I would've said The Depot.
It was decent. Had been at the Liberty Game which got over late (they lost) and needed to find a place to eat before heading back to Roanoke. It is in a cool space. Their take on Irish pub fare. I had the fish and chips. We also had a Sheppards Pie and a fried chicken. Not bad. Ok. The beer was good. Might swing by the next time I am here.
Went here for my daughters best friends birthday. we found this place just by driving by. We were having trouble finding a place on a Friday night with a wait under an hour. We called their number and asked if they had room for a party of six. They said, yes and could accommodate us in 5 minutes. The restaurant was comfortable and nicely decorated. Everyone of our party had a good meal. I had a pork chop with potatoes and vegetables. The pork chop was tasty and cooked perfectly. Our server was pleasant. It wasn't overly crowded, but the food was served a little slow, but not a bother since we were just chilling. I will come back again when I'm in Virginia.
It was our first time here. The staff was super friendly we even met the chef. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. They have a great selection on their menu, which is perfect for a variety of tastes. The only issue is parking, which isn't their fault, but there is a public lot behind the building across the way. I'd say it's a great addition to downtown Lynchburg!
Went for dinner at 6pm on a Tuesday. We took a customer there based on 4 star rating on Yelp. The restaurant had only our table of 3 and a large corporate event of 30. Our server was sub par, uninformed about the menu and the drinks. Once the group of 30 was seated, we had to ask for service. Others in my group liked their steak and lamb and said their food was good. I had shrimp and grits not recommended.
