Thai Urban Kitchen Tuk - Luzern

We found this small restaurant by chance in Lucerne station. They have food prepared for taking out or stand dining there. We ordered Shrimp fried rice which taste very good indeed. The selling staff was kind enough to give us more chili and coriander. We have one of the best Thai dishes in Switzerland. Most of all, it was not expensive in terms of quallity and quantity. Highly recommended.

Found the Thai Urban Kitchen in the lower train station level in a line up of various “stalls” selling food. They have a only a few variety of dishes at a reasonable price ready to go. There are stand up tables in which to eat from which is good so you want accidentally spill anything on you. We had the chicken satay, spring rolls and curry which was tasty and enjoyable. They are generous with the rice; we told them to take it easy with the satay. We liked the sauces. Across the way there is a public piano. We listen to 2 people, 4 hands, playing some rousing boogie woogie jazz music to a fairly sizable number of people. We defiantly recommend this place as a fine option when traveling thru or even going there when in the Lucerne train station.

Customer service is friendly, food is not always the best, but as a student I know this place will always have my back if I want an affordable rice dish also the okra tea is good

Great veggie/tofu massuman curry on a winter’s day. Reasonable value.
