Fondue House Du Pont - Luzern

The stuff was very rude and they didn’t explain that the price is per person. It was very expensive. And when we ask her why it’s this price she starts shouting.

The food was delicious. We had cheese, meat and chocolate fondue. They were all tasty. Plus there are a lot of side dishes that are included. It was far too much food for us, but an enjoyable visit. I’d go back again.

We visited Lucerne in the Summer and this is off season for fondue, so we didn't have lots of options to pick from. We came across Fondue House Du Pont after reading some online reviews and I'm so pleased this is where we chose. We had a fabulous view from our seat on the balcony, overlooking the river and Chapel Bridge. There was lots of choice for fondue, I went with goat cheese and it was amazing! They don't skimp on potatoes or bread, we struggled to get through it and definitely wouldn't have needed to ask for more. The waitress who served us was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful and funny, and nothing was too much trouble. She made me a special Hugo spritz using rosé prosecco and it was delicious. I would highly recommend if you're looking for fondue in Lucerne. But be aware there aren't loads of outdoor tables so if you want a view you might need to book in advance.

Fantastic experience. We were received with great affection by Maria Ferreira, a kind Portuguese woman whose attention and affection we fell in love with. The fondues she recommended were delicious, we were very satisfied.

Very good service and flavor of the special fondue the chocolate one seemed very sweet to me.
