L'hostellerie du Chateau - Luynes

Some places aren't inspiring but this wasn't one of them. Nothing particularly wrong, but the staff weren't all that friendly and it was early in the season!

We were in Luynes and looking for somewhere to get lunch. The only place that we could find that was open, had a board outside offering a set menu at 11.50 euros, but it just looked like a local bar. However, having entered, we were shown through to a very smart restaurant at the back. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely three course meal for a very reasonable price.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and it is definitely a case of don't judge a book by its cover'.
