Jewel Of The Nile - Luxor

A really hidden gem in a small quiet street in luxor. excellent quality and very friendly service. eating was great and cooked with care and attention, which are difficult to finance in luxor. it is really underestimated given the quality experience it had there. if they are in luxury, this is a very recommended place for a good evening meal.

This restaurant, as it suggests the names, is a real gem. we have eaten here often. the restaurant is very clean and eating is delicious. there is a very varied menu and the whole food is freshly prepared and cheap. in harmony with many restaurants outside hotels they can not buy alcoholic drinks, but they can bring their own. the restaurant is closed on Friday. they can get an excellent Sunday roast here, but they need to book. the restaurant is located quite far from the main street, but well take the walk worth or a taxi (very cheap). the owner and the staff are very helpful and welcoming in the same street, but closer to the main street is the sister restaurant of the jewel 'the secret garden', which is open to breakfast, but closes in the evening. it is also the same high standard and useful if you want to eat a fast bite. they can also get lunch packages here. do not hesitate to use these restaurants, they are a must and are excellent value for money.

Expensive food, double the price of any local place, and filled with khawaagas ordering things like fish and chips . For tourists only. The food is fresh at least (not stale, dry chicken) and appears good quality. But when appetisers aren 't included and the menu is only in English it puts me off because I know I 'm paying extra for something I don 't need.

Excellent food and great service very pleasant place to eat in luxor

Very cosy restaurant, the food is great for the price. It may be hard to find, specially at night (the neighborhood might look dodgy.. Overall a good and cheap way to experience the tastes of egypt!
