Alpen Village - Luwin

Location of the hotel fantastic, panoramic and very large. 100 meters away from the ski slopes. Good, plentiful and varied food. In March 2024 I spent a week at Alpen Resort Livigno. I stayed at a Chalet that was put into use two months ago. The room was spacious, but we didn't have a wardrobe or even a chair in the room, and when you go skiing for several days you need storage space. Cleaning was done every day and towels were changed daily. The room had a fairly generous balcony. The SPA area of the hotel is one of five stars. It was renovated two years ago. It is divided into 3 areas: The children's area had two slides and a pool; The 18+ area had wet and dry saunas, emotional showers, a pool with very cold water, 3 different relaxation areas and two jacuzzis outside; The mixed area had (infinity pool and pool bar) At the SPA in the mixed area, at the (infinity pool) the music was played at maximum volume as if you were in a club and it was quite EXTREMELY disturbing if you wanted to relax there. About food. We had half board. At breakfast the food was the same every day and was very poor, not having many options. Last year we were at Picollo Mondo, a smaller hotel and the breakfast was richer and better quality. At dinner, the food was more varied with: appetizers, course 1 and course 2, the service being a Swedish buffet. I have to mention that water is not included, it has to be paid even if it was not served in a bottle, but in carafes. Very nice hotel and restaurant staff plus Bianca our blonde waitress who served us every night and made our dinner more enjoyable. What bothered me the most was that many people came to dinner and breakfast carelessly dressed, with slippers, having no socks. About the fitness room, I have nothing to tell you. Like non existent! Back for the fourth holiday. Confirm the pleasant experiences previously experienced. Hotel in continuous structural improvement, rooms of all types and relative prices, excellent quality/price ratio, trained, professional and helpful staff, high-value wellness services, convenient location for skiing and otherwise with personalized and municipal shuttle service, good quality catering .
