Bidrage med feedbackOne of our favorite places to eat and visit! It’s dog-friendly, which is a big plus for our family. I want to personally thank the staff for making our dog feel at home during our Sunday dinner by creating a special doggie sundae just for him. Albie loved it!
Traditional British village pub with amazing homemade pub grub..fish n chips, burgers, salads, steaks etc....Now Pizza's too...Good range of beers and too many Gin's to try on one visit.Outdoor seating and playground for the warmer summer days.Great friendly staff ! A hidden gem.
Proper English country pub. Amazing food and I mean amazing. homemade food. Great selection of drinks and nice friendly service. This is our go to place for food. It never disappoints... Oh forgot to mention the pies... I've never had a pie topping like it ever.. I struggle not to order a pie every time we go
The hollybush pub in ashby parva a few weeks ago lunch. it was a nostalgic visit to the pub where my grandfather had thirty plus years to the early 1960s when he was called the shoulder of mutton. we asked about a lunchtime. we had not pre-booked since we only made the decision after we had seen the weather conditions to travel earlier in the morning. we have been pointed out that due to a party of fourteen people in another room, it would wait a 30 to 40 minutes. we have been handed over two menus to go through while we have a private chat away from the bar. the only problem we had was that we have worked within time constraints and an eighty mile return to home to kings lynn to take into account. we chose a chance to take, I ordered lamb and mint cake, while my wife ordered beer ruined halloumi. Luckily the party had left 14 earlier than expected, so we had to wait about 20 minutes for our meals, but they were certainly worth waiting. we enjoyed our meal, very happy and satisfied, we would certainly go back and would certainly recommend this facility.
This is a very welcoming pub with a spacious beer garden and ample parking. Dogs are allowed, and the enclosed beer garden is perfect for children, weather permitting. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and there’s a great selection of quality beers. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t quite live up to the same standard; both the regular menu and Sunday roast could use some improvement. However, I’ve definitely had worse meals elsewhere, so don’t let that deter you. Some patrons particularly enjoy the cakes, which are more of a Puff bakery-style variant than traditional cakes. Despite the food not being perfect, the Hollybush is definitely worth a visit!
