Comfort food is the cuisine that awakens fond memories of childhood, triggered by simple tastes and smells. At Mariano`s, I found they have returned to fresh home-made comfort food and added an international flare made with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. While the restaurant has made a concerted effort to cast off any sense of stuffiness, it hasn’t let go of quality, standards, or creativity. Deep flavors comingle beautifully from start to finish—from the Pan seared snapper with clam and spicy xo broth, calamansi garlic cream to the herb roasted chicken breast, garlic sautéed kang kong, pumpkin mash! Thank you to Mariano`s for the bounty of fresh, healthy food full of delicious flavors. Staff were super friendly, gracious and accommodating, and the many reasonably priced wines and Fat Pauly`s hand crafted beers were my favorite.” I`ll be back!
