Château D'adoménil - Lunéville

A very beautiful château in a remote part of Luneville. It is very tastefully furnished with great decoration. We were there on New Year's Eve and were a bit perplexed and didn't really care when the clock struck midnight. The light went out for 2 seconds. No champagne or anything. No bumping. As a German you simply don't know that, you have to know that. It's a day like any other. What I also found very strange was (and a first in this category): that you should pay 8 euros for a fried egg?! There were some question marks. Does the chicken lay golden eggs? If you need something like that with a breakfast price of 36 euros in this hotel category, then I don't know. Anyway, the drinks were also super expensive. A cappuccino 10 euros?! Almost no bottle of wine is under 100 euros. Two degistif 48 euros. That has to be worth it. You have to hide it otherwise you will quickly feel ripped off. A big negative point was that there was no non-alcoholic aperitif. This is now standard in every restaurant. Juice was offered. The hotel offers nothing exceptional in winter except the food. For example a sauna or a massage. The dog has been buried, so to speak, with extremely high prices. You have to know and like that. At least English is spoken. A stroke of luck in France. The food was very good. The staff friendly. The rooms clean and nice.
