Mateus Bistro - Lunenburg

We stopped in for brunch/lunch everything was delicious!We each enjoyed a french pressed coffee. I had a spinach tomato eggs benedict, which was served with a side of potato wedges salad with a balsamic vinaigrette (delicious).My partner had what he proclaimed was "the best BLT I 've ever had. "As a bonus, we were greeted by a lovely kitty outside of the restaurant!

Not very happy with the menu and price for what you get , we ordered haddock burger and the smoke chicken club , which online come with a salad and potato wedges . Which are both $18.00 . THEN in the actual restaurant they haven’t changed the price but have taken away the sides , but you can add them for an additional price . This is highway robbery. NOT right at all .If you’re still reading , the food was actually really good and the service was amazing. Won’t go there again due to the above mentioned comments.

Nice location in Mahone Bay. Service was ok. Meals were decidedly underwhelming and overpriced. The grilled haddock for $34 was tiny. Two spears of asparagus and a bite of red pepper was the veg along with a few grilled potatoes. The kebab was on the dinner menu but served on a tapas plate. We did get it back on a larger plate but no more food. Disappointing. With all the other wonderful options in the area, never again.

Cost quality meh.The food was cold and did not taste anything special.
