Bidrage med feedbackI think this place got shut down or they just abandoned it or something. I live in Luna Pier and I see this place a lot when I drive down Luna Pier road. The past month or two there has been nobody going in or out and a white paper in the window. today I finally decided to take a walk over there and the paper is a hand written note on notebook paper that says Closed til Monday . I don 't know what Monday that is supposed to be, but when I looked in the window and door, there were huge flies all over the inside of that place.
I'm not in this area often but we loved our pizza and salad It hit the spot. Thanks. Will be back if ever in the area again.
Just had a Very Berry Salad. Delicious and Healthy! The atmosphere is very welcoming. The dining area is decorated with paintings from Michigan artist. The menu is much more than pizzas and has a lot of healthy choices.
I held off posting a review for a few months to give this spot a second chance. Our party of four visited the new location shortly after they opened excited by the prospect of a Chicago deep dish pizza and an innovative menu. There was an odd man lurking about out front, but we went in anyway. There was a cluster of female staff behind the bar, and we were seated quickly and given our drinks. Everyone was friendly, and the establishment was clean and nicely decorated. The problems did not start until after we ordered large Chicago deep dish with pepperoni and mushroom and large specialty pan. The server said it would take a bit for the deep dish which gave us hope that it would be good. As we waited...and waited...the gaggle of staff were all a titter. Our drinks were refilled once and no one came over again until an hour later. The older lady who identified herself as the owner's mother apologized and said their cook had took off/quit but they were doing their best to get our pizzas done. After 90 minutes, two pizzas came out. The Chicago was just a regular pan pizza and the second was a pizza with the wrong toppings. I had to wave my hand to get a waitress back over and they figured out that they gave us someone else's pizza was intended to go out for delivery. The Chicago ...we sent back as it was thin and undercooked...wet dough. They said they couldn't redo them as they no longer had anyone to cook. I guess the owner was home sick. I complained, and the owner's mother wrote out a coupon for two Chicago deep dish pizzas saying we could get 2 large specialty or deep dishes with it. We left hungry and disappointed but understanding that sometimes a place can have a bad night. We attempted to get our free pizzas last Thursday, and the counter person said they no longer do deep dish. She would honor the coupon as she recognized the mom's signature. But then said they no longer did deep dish so she would give us either 2 small 1 item pizzas or one large. This would have been worth like $10 15 and not the near $40 that we were supposed to be reimbursed. We ended up not sticking around and got 2 pizzas at jcups instead. This is not how to treat customers on either visit, and I hope it is corrected or they won't be in business much longer. UPDATE: Jeff (owner) has reached out and offered to make this right. I will update once we are able to go back. guess not seems closed. I can understand why.
