Bidrage med feedbackBeen five times. Always great food and excellent service. Have had the poutine (omg) ; the pig mac (really cool twist on macaroni and cheeze); the maple syrup and chipotle chicken wings (great flavour); the cheddar bacon pizza (no tomatoe sauce and the crust is sooo good); and the southern fried chicken. And the bruschetta is so fresh. Everything we have had has been really, really good. The decor is perfect for the setting and staff is very accommodating. There is absolutely nothing negative to be said about this restaurant. Love it.
I couldn't get my TV to work. Really, in the grand scheme of things... not that big of deal. However, I work on the road and 100.00 $ for a night is the top of my budget(clean, a tv.. nothing fancy) and I have not experienced the lack of empathy to help me out. All I want to do is veg for a couple of hours and go to bed. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!! These folks could give a ****.
I went here with a group of friends last evening. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. The service was pretty efficient and maybe best of all the food was delicious. There isn't a huge selection but everyone in our group of 10 was happy with their meal. Those who tried it raved about the homemade Bailey's ice cream sandwiches for dessert. It was quite busy on a Sunday evening and several people came to pick up food while we were there. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
I'll admit, their social media got me! After seeing a picture of the bacon wrapped meatloaf special, I threw my husband in the car and away we went.Upon entering, the special was noted on the board at $25.00. I was a little surprised to see it was that much money, but I had my heart set.It wasn't at all busy when we went in (around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday), so we were seated promptly on arrival. We did peruse the menu for our own interest to see what else was on offer. There was a decent selection to fit most tastes and menu pricing seemed to be in the average range, as opposed to the price of the special. Our server was friendly and helpful, definitely no complaints in that regard. The food was very good; a slice of meatloaf wrapped in bacon, cheesy mashed potatoes and caesar salad. The portions were a little on the smaller side, which is fine by me because many restaurants way oversize portions. The bill was $55 pre-tip for two meals (no beverages or dessert). I absolutely appreciate this establishment is supportive of local producers; however, it's my opinion they could offer meat loaf and mashed potatoes (and other meals of the same type) for a few dollars less and still enjoy a pretty comfortable profit margin. That said, food and atmosphere were good, so we'll likely be back.
Heard great reviews about this place so a party of 6 of us headed out to give it a try. Myself plus 2 others ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and we were told it was the thigh and drumstick. Fine. For $16 you are think it will be a decent size, no, it was probably a fryer size chicken. Not much there. To top it off, and this was my biggest complaint, when I bit into it blood ran out. NOT COOKED. So I sent it back, and about 5 minutes later the same piece of chicken was returned and cooked. By the time it was returned the chicken was hot but then the fries and gravy were cold. There was never a sorry about the inconvenience, just an excuse that they were "using a new supplier and it had something to do with the marrow". Quote from the waitress. We were also told it was the 3rd chicken dinner to be sent back due to not cooked. Doesn't that tell you something!!!
