Bidrage med feedbackThe hotel is in a convenient location right off I-95, with a Denny's restaurant inside. A super Walmart and other shops are close by. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Dowside- the cable TV service is a convoluted and confusing mess! Granted, no one checks in just to watch TV, but trying to check traffic and weather was a chore. The weird remote does not have numbers on it, or info on shows offered. You're forced to surf through the full lineup. It actually discourages watching TV and should be scrapped. It got a little noisy in the hallways late on night two, but not to a point that I wouldn't visit again..
The staff is always lovely! I am from New York and truly appreciate the southern hospitality LOL!The location is convenient and the hotel is nice and cozy.I’ve stayed here multiple times while driving down I-95, and My only complaint is the sheets in the bed aren’t always DRY. They are damp and make sleeping uncomfortable for the most part.Other than that I really love this location. Especially being next to Dennys! And guests get a free breakfast voucher. ?
The rooms are clean, set up nicely, has a comfortable chair to sit in so you're not sitting on the bed to watch TV. An area to set up your computer to get your work done. Beds are comfortable got a good night's sleep! Restaurant downstairs was convenient and delicious.Rooms: 5/5
I’ve stayed at this hotel before when in town for work and had a good experience. This time around they managed to put me in a tremendous bind that was not only highly inconvenient but exceedingly costly.I made reservations online some time ago, so I expected no issues. Upon attempting to check, in the front desk clerk insisted that my debit card/bank was the issue, when what I personally observed appeared to be a system issue on the hotel’s part. I called my bank to ensure they were not blocking the charge due to suspected fraud and was assured there was no problem with my card or bank account. In fact, the customer service rep indicated that no attempts to authorize or charge the card had been made.I understand that sometimes computer issues happen, but the clerk made absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation. I was told that my only option was to find another hotel. This ended up being problematic in more ways than one. It was exceedingly hard to finally find a hotel in town with vacancy that was suitable to stay in, and the one I did find will cost me double what I what I would have paid had I stayed at the hotel I had reserved well in advance.I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service that was displayed, and I can’t say that I will recommend or utilize this particular hotel again. I sincerely hope this doesn’t become an even bigger issue in the form of being charged for a room I didn’t stay in.
We stayed here on the way from the DC area to Hilton Head. I booked here because I had some IHG points and it was free. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. This is not your typical full service Holiday Inn. There is a Denny’s but no bar. We wanted some glasses to enjoy our wine in the room and asked for a cork screw. The hotel didn’t have one and sent us to Denny’s (in the lobby) to get a glass. They gave us 2 paper cups. The hotel is very outdated. There are other hotels close that look newer and much nicer.
