Al Ponte Ristorante - Lugano Airport

Looking for another restaurant in the vicinity of our hotel I found this jewel. the football game was up, swung against itals, so it was quite a party for the locals. exactly the same ronaldo has set me up with drinks, new friends who were curious how a lost American found this place. my wife and I returned twice to dinner and we were not disappointed. go and enjoy them and ask for ronaldo, and on all wise checkout the hotel!

The restaurant has an astonishing view: overseeing the lake of lugano on the Ticino moutains. Would be worth for the view only but the food is simply so so great! From the pizzas to the bbq on summer time (weekends). Of course all the pastas...are super yummie and prices very affordable. Worth the repeated visit always!

The location benefits the view over the lake but the restaurant misses a nice atmosphere also outside on the terraces. We had a pizza and a pasta but nothing special. Service could be better.

The closest experience you will get to eating in heaven: excellent food and wine for fair price, combined with a view over Lago di Lugano that will take your breath away.

Terrible experience, rude behaviour from the owners, we had to wait more than an hour for pizzas. The restaurant was full of grill smoke and the owners were violent. Our family left without getting any food. Dont bouther visiting there, stay far away.
