Marteres Tea Room - Lufkin

Mar Teres Tea Room is located on HWY 94 just a little way from Loop 287 on the left. They have closed a short time, but thanks to their reopening. You have the most delicious chicken salad! And some amazing desserts. The atmosphere of this place is not like any other place where you go to eat. It's a must! Make sure you call and reserve

I had the tortellini (alfredo sauce and chicken breast) with a garlic knot and mandarin orange salad on the side. It was very great plate and the almond tea was also really delicious! Great experience!

If you find yourself in the Lufkin, TX area, you must visit this restaurant. The staff was incredibly welcoming when I arrived, offering samples of their specialty dishes since it was my first time there. I mentioned that I have a gluten-free diet, and they went out of their way to provide me with fantastic recommendations. The total bill came to only $13.

This restaurant is one of my favorites! Sit back and enjoy a truly delightful dining experience. I highly recommend trying the chicken salad, broccoli salad, and chicken spaghetti, as well as the must-have almond tea. Everything on the menu is fantastic!

We were a party of three and we all had a pleasant dining experience. The service was excellent. We highly recommend trying the toasted coconut cream pie for dessert, it is delicious. Our server also suggested a new dessert, a mini peach cake with peach ice cream. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it as it was too rich for our taste. Overall, Mar Teres is a great restaurant, especially popular among women.
