Block House - Lübeck

We visited the weekend lübeck and eat both evenings in the block house. it was very conveniently located (only 2 minutes walk from our hotel,) and our big dog was welcome. a water dish was brought for her immediately. the personal was very. pleasant and the steaks were good. reasonable prices.

They may have other dishes than meat, but this is the restaurant if they like steak / bark. it is very well prepared, eating is not very expensive and the staff is friendly. if they could wish something, it would be a better wine...list not many weine to choose and the quality varies.

We visited this place during a trip through Germany. we were in a gap and wanted a good steak. we chose the blockhouse that was close to our hotel. the service was friendly and efficient, the menus were excellent and the price was fair....Everything in all a good experience,

Good eating, good service, more reasonable price, the only negatiw was that the place was extremely hot. very competent and friendly staff

I had dined at Block House restaurant in Hamburg a few years ago and remembered the excellent steaks. We were passing through Lubeck when we decided to have lunch at Block House. We were not disappointed. We ordered Pepper Steak, rib eye steak and Spinach...pasta for my vegetarian cousin.The steaks were excellent and prepared exactly as ordered; medium well pepper steak and medium rare for rib eye. The meals came with salad which was very fresh and juicy. The baked potatoes with sour cream and chives were excellent. The service was efficient and attentive. Will definitely visit again.
