Alte Muhle - Lübeck

We went on Monday evening in summer. this is a very busy place and we were happy to have made a reservation. the cache here is flaky cake and blissful ignorant I have just ordered one (with pfifferlingen speck.) this is in...essence a wafer thinner teig (probably short in a very hot one and decorated with all toppings, well, they know of pizza. well made. a nasalat, after par. a fine wein card with a beautiful bath pinot noir (18E) . service was helpful, we had to wait when we arrived, but it was busy here. tipp, when they arrive at 2030, they probably get a place immediately.

This restaurant, in an old mill, is a little out of the center of town and set in park-like surroundings along the river. The dining room is cozy and informal, like a good pub in Britain, and in nice weather one can sit outside at...tables under the tall trees. (It was raining when we were there. Among other offerings were a good selection of thin crust pizzas and nice fresh salads. Beer and wine too, of course.

Searching for somewhere new to eat in Lübeck, a colleague suggested the old mill and told us we wouldn't be disappointed if we were looking for honest hearty German food. With this in mind, we steered past the Flammkuchen (French pizza) and straight to the...platters. My choice, a mixed grill with chicken, pork, and steak came with a veritable mountain of tasty creamy coleslaw, delicious fried potatoes and hunks of homemade bread that regularly came out of the busy kitchen. All the meats were delicious and perfectly seasoned. There will be a next time I'm certain

Promenerade runt på kvällen och gick in för att det såg mysigt ut. Vi satte oss ute och tog en efterrätt "Heisse und Eis" och lite öl och kaffe. Gott men värmen saknades i körsbären.

Wir hatten vorher bestellt, was auch gut war. Das Essen sehr schmackhaft, die Flammkuchen sind immer wieder genial.Das Lammfilet und auch das Zanderfilet sehr gut. Der Service hervorragend und schnell. Es war ein netter Abend bei Euch.
