We ate in the cellar and that was a very interesting experience. first we started with a German beer. I had the ipa that was on the special card.

Very busy, had to wait 10 minutes for table, but with a nice beer. Ordered the Jaegerschnitzel, which was one of the best I had in years. Beer was good also. Everything for a decent price. Well worth the visit.

We ran from a rainstorm into the poor of the brewer. we were led into the cellar and given two great animals with which we warm up. we ordered a traditional one.

My first night in lübeck, I explored the Christmas markets and came up with my colleagues. our local colleague took us here for an after-dinner beer.

Had a great meal here, we hadn’t booked but managed to get a table on a really busy Tuesday! Quirky interior, split across levels and a nice atmosphere. Both had schnitzels with different sauces and really enjoyed it. The beer is great too! Service was efficient and price reasonable. I’d definitely go back.
