Allgau - Ludwigsburg

We stayed in ludwigsburg when we visit family and came from England. We remember food that made our grandma and came for good German Swedish food, we are not disappointed. Father and daughter duo were very friendly and hospitality was great. We enjoyed some very traditional food and were even given potato salad after our grandma made us some! Very nice food and came away feeling happy and full. Very recommended for traditional German food.

Eating was okay, but very average. average interior equipment, staff overwhelmed. Knowledge of wine lacked and very less choice of beers

Good honest kitchen, nice atmosphere. there you can meet nice people or just eat something simple good. the chef cooks himself.

Our second visit to the restaurant allgäu confirms our previous impressions: a rustic and authentic ambiente, an efficient and smiling service and a very good kitchen by chef christoph rieger! we knew the excellent late zle that make up the call of the place, but we must not forget the maul bags that are a real tasty bite! for us the two dishes that you should try in the allgäu absolutely. everything in a simple, snorkelless atmosphere that cares for hospitality.

Looks like a pub on the first look, but you can drink more than just a beer here. eating is good if the portions are rather small. ambiente is ok, but the small dining room at "full hut" is quite loud.
