If you like to eat fish, Bortell's is the place to goGreat tasting fish and shrimps It is a little off the beaten path, but the journey to its location is a scenic and worth the trip!

This out of the way family owned place is so worth the drive Great fish and very friendly people

We stop here every time we go to Pentwater. Well worth the 15 minute drive. Bring cash, they don’t take cards.

The best fried fish on the Planet and the Smoke fish is to die for I have been coming here for 25 years and counting

My Fiancé and I took a road trip and have ventured to this place before with our family and it's amazing... we had the Fresh Fried Perch and Fried Shrimp Dinner and being able to enjoy it across the street at Lake Michigan is just the cherry on top!!! More then worth it !
