Blue Sky Texas - Lubbock

My dad picked up a burger for me that looked like it had been thrown together (patty halfway out of the bun, cheese halfway on patty). I've made better looking burgers at Wendy's. But the meat was also totally pink! I had to give the rest to my dad because I did not want to feel like I'm eating raw meat. Didn't think to take a picture.

The older guy busing tables needs to be commended. He is always going out of the way to help people. His customer service is what all businesses need. They could learn a thing or two from the bus boy!

Food was really good, ordered cheese fries and mushrooms Swiss burger. Only complaint with the fries is I can never get a reasonable bit when trying to pull em apart haha.

Wanted to try a something from this location as I haven't eaten from this location before. I called to place a to-go order but unfortunately, this location has the laziest crew in the city apparently because its 11:22 as this review is being created and I still cannot get someone to answer the phone. I started calling at 11:00am on the dot and continuosly called for 15mins straight. I would have been fine to be placed on hold but nope just a bunch of lazy workers who do not have the ability to do two things at once. Avoid this place like the plague unless you want a lazily put together, overpriced and more than likely under/overcooked burger more than likely given to you 45 minutes after you placed the order. Again this is all an assumption as I couldnt even get a phone call answered. They say they open at 11am but that seems to be more like 11:30 am or maybe even 12pm.

We got our food pretty quickly.. the patio sort of a disappointment there's no fans out there or anything so its pretty hot .. being summer it's nice to be out there especially with the lake .. would be nice if they made it a little bit more accommodating . The sandbox.. the kids really did enjoy it but the sand was so hot so they need to put some type of covering on top of that pergola .. Was not a fan of the fries at all! Those fries do not go with chili . The burgers were really good and tasty. Chicken fried steak would be nice if they added a roll or garlic bread or something. Pretty plain meal. Overall maybe once in a blue moon go eat there but not an all the time thing for us ..
