Hop Dogs - Lowville

The restaurant had a strong odor of damp, decaying wood when I entered, which was quite overwhelming. Unfortunately, I didn't stay to try the food and ended up leaving. I've heard good things about the place, though...

Our experience was outstanding! Mike was a wonderful manager, bartender, and server—the food was absolutely delicious! We can't wait to return!

We decided against taking the granddaughters to the crowded Lewis County Fair, so we treated them to dinner instead. The hot dogs were massive, and the tater tots were perfectly crispy. They offered a range of drinks, including soda, water, and Skewed Brewery products. Our server and bartender was incredibly helpful and truly fantastic at her job—though I must admit, I’m not just saying that because she’s my daughter; she really excels in what she does!

Great dogs and service. We also enjoyed good locally brewed lager. We will be returning and visiting the beer garden.

Fantastic little restaurant. Great local beer selection on tap and the food is delicious. Very friendly and welcoming staff, great atmosphere for a small local place. And also able to walk home with 4 packs of their own brews. Brand new and haven't been open for long but very hopeful to go back again and again. Highly recommend.
