The menu is lovely and straightforward, with some great gluten-free options available in the cabinet. As someone with celiac disease, I felt very safe dining here.
I love this place! The food tastes like real food not the same old cafe food you get everywhere, the coffee is good and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend it
We had to wait over 20 minutes for my husband's coffee and croissant to be served, and an additional 5 to 10 minutes for my smoothie. I waited over 45 minutes for my meal. While it looked appealing, it was ultimately disappointing. Everything on the plate—the hash brown, avocado, eggs, and sauce—had a similar texture with no distinct flavors. I ended up leaving half of it uneaten. I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that it helps improve the experience for future customers. If we had been informed about the wait time when we placed our order, we would have understood, especially if the drinks had arrived promptly. Instead, we found ourselves having to check on our order multiple times. Additionally, I noticed that the café has moved from Moera to downtown Lower Hutt.
I felt very safe dining here, as the owner and chef is gluten-free. She took the time to explain her menu and the items in the display case, most of which are gluten-free. My lunch was absolutely delicious.
