Afternoon Tea The Garden

Great value for money and a lovely atmosphere good service

Very disappointed pre booked as staying hotel for 2 night's. Limited menu on list but ordered starters and mains. The waitress came back after 5mins to advise that both starters and mains not available they had not had a delivery. Surely the waitress should have been informed before handing out menus. One of us ended up with a soup which was like wallpaper paste and cheese and biscuits and the other a burger our night was spoiled We would have been better off bringing a sandwich with us for our evening meal. The breakfast the next day was better but after hunting for the marmalade was told we don't have any. Really need to get their act together. They don't seem to cope. Sadly we won't return

I had booked an afternoon tea for a belated mother’s day present. The food was lovely and the staff friendly. Would highly recommend.

Very dim lit restaurant. Only white bread. We had to ask for our tea before they served it ! As it was an afternoon tea we did expect this without having to ask. Lady was kind and polite and gave us boxes to take any leftover cake home. Not enough savoury, I had half a scotch egg. Don’t think I’ll return

The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and attentive. Definitely will return.
