Melillo Tavern - Lowellville

Met up with another couple here on a Saturday evening. Our first time. We were seated promptly in front of what was an old safe. Very quaint. Our Server (Debby) was fantastic. She could not have been nicer and more professional. Excellent sense of humor. It was a busy evening and she never became flustered. Made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was very good. It was seasoned properly and even as busy as they were that evening it was the correct temperature. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is they had music going on in the bar area and it made it difficult to have a conversation at times. Overall just a very nice experience. Will go back and definitely ask for Debby.

Food is good and prices are reasonable. Staff very friendly. You are treated like family every time you walk in. Chicken parm is the best.

Friendly staff even though they were extremely busy. Food was tasty and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Will definitely return!

We love everything about Melillo's. Johnny is a wonderful chef. We love all the Italian entrees. We especially love the chicken Parmesan and the lasagna. I often order the filet. It's always served perfectly as I like it Pittsburgh style. The owners are all wonderful. They have certainly made a restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Last Saturday we stayed for the entertainment of Lace and Base. It was nicely crowded. What a fantastic group!!! The desserts are amazing. We had the Key Lime Cheesecake. Nothing could be finer. If you want a great meal, try Melillo's.

This is a gem of a place. 5 stars in regards to a very good place to eat. The menu is well balanced . You are going to find something for everyone and it's very well presented with great employees. The sauce is great for any pasta. Steaks you can't go wrong or lamb. . Even the salads. Price is very reasonable and portions good size. Even the sushi tuna app is wonderful. The wine list is very reasonable for some wines you might not see at any place around Youngstown or Ohio for that matter The setting is historical and immaculate Would not hesitate to recommend .
