So why a one star, food okay, service good, crowded but it was a Sunday morning, the problem started right after I left BUGS!Not bugs in the food but in the booth I sat at. BED BUGS to be exact! I stayed in a hostel years ago that was infested with them. They have a very distinct bite pattern it's literally called breakfast, lunch and dinner three usually in a row. I took a nap when we got home and woke up with 4 bites areas. I have a more pronounced allergic reaction than most and spent the last week washing sheets, clothing and vacuuming my bedroom and couch just out of shear paranoia. I called and spoke with the manager just to let them know, maybe the person before me had them and shedded them. Either way she didn't seem to get the potential seriousness, telling me her people clean the booths between customers. Wiping down the seat with a cloth won't cut it. Goodluck, I will never be returning!

Never had a bad meal here. Service is always great.I hate to do it, but I need to change my review. This used to be without a doubt one of the best places to go for breakfast in the city of Lowell. There is now a new owner and all I can say is don’t bother going. The service was horrible, the owner was there, she was sitting down eating her breakfast with 3 tables of friends while she watched her friend get up and wait tables because her friend felt so bad. I know it is tough to find good help today. Nobody wants to work. But as the owner, how could you sit down and eat with people waiting outside for a table or while your friend gets up in the middle of her breakfast to clean tables and pour coffee. And after all wait and everything else, the food wasn’t even good.

My Husband and I have been waiting to try this place as new locals and it did not disappoint! We arrived a little after 9a on a Sunday and found a perfect spot to sit. Having prior Restaurant experience, the staff were certainly efficient and friendly! We look forward to when we're both off on a Sunday to enjoy some more pancakes, fresh eggs and awesome coffee!
