I love their food! It's one of the few healthy options in the area that's consistently great. I always order one of their grain bowls or salads for takeout, and have tried most of them by now. All tasty. Sometimes the food can take a little longer to come out, but it's well worth it for something nutritious and made to order. And if you order ahead of time it's mostly a nonissue. My only gripe was during one visit when the food wasn't quite ready and on the shelf by the door I decided to wait in one of their chairs near the exit. A worker asked the name on my order, and that was my mistake. I should have just told him that I'd wait for him to bring in out. When the dish was ready instead of bringing it over to the door and placing it on the shelf he called me over across the restaurant to come get it from him. I know this wouldn't bother the average patron, but I have severe social anxiety and really didn't want to go through the busy restaurant to the counter. It's understandable if it's busy and they don't want to walk the food over, but sometimes a person may be ordering takeout for other reasons besides speed and convenience. I stopped coming back for awhile because I didn't want this to happen again. Eventually I started ordering again, because the food truly is really good. But now I try and give them time to have it ready and waiting on their takeout shelf by the door. Another thing is the bees out by their tables outside. I get they're not really controllable this time of year, but they're still annoying. I went the other week with someone and they were so bad we decided to bring our food inside. We ate as close to the exit as possible, but I would still have preferred to have eaten outdoors or just go home. The interior is very pretty. I love the overall décor and paintings along the walls. And the raised stage area with comfy chairs by the door is nice. So all in all I'd recommend this place for most people because you can't beat the food. My girlfriend introduced me to Life Alive and I'm so glad she did. I'm not personally vegan/vegetarian but this I would say is one of the best places to go if you are. The food is absolutely delicious and the space is uniquely decorated. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
