I was walking around near the Sanctuary looking for a place to eat, and I stumbled upon this place with enticing pictures from the menu including idli and dosa in Lourdes. Then I discovered that there were quite a few such joints run by Sri Lankan Tamils who no doubt came here as refugees during the war. Nonetheless it is surprising to see them here in this highly Catholic place, since they are primarily Hindus. I was even further shocked to see them cooking and serving dead animals I asked for the veg thali that looked just like it is offered in South India. However what came out was a plate with rice and 2 vegetables and raita dumped on it. The veg biryani was tasty but oily. The lassi was good. The owner staff were friendly and helpful. It is a small place and cleaner and slightly better than Amma that seems to be more popular. Unlike what it should be, it is not inexpensive.

This is my preferred fish and chips truck.
