The Taj Indian - Loulé

Amazing curry, genuine Nepalese cooking, the best I have had since I spent 3 weeks in Nepal 10years ago. Lovely welcoming staff. I mentioned I was vegan when asking about the naan bread and whether it was butter or oil on the garlic naan, the lovely server advised me that there might be milk in the dough so suggested kindly I have rice. My wife and I shared the vegetable samosa and veg pakoda to start. They were both wonderful and fresh, the spice mixes were superb. I then had the aloo bodi tama which again, had a superb spice blend. I had the mild which gave a little gentle heat whilst being very tasty. My wife had the chicken makhani which she described as rich and creamy with succulent chicken having been cooked in the tandoor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, if we were staying longer we would definitely visit again. We both had a fabulous meal and I will happily recommend to anyone. The food was very good quality for a good price too.

The location could be better. But the service is very good and the food is delicious. The terrace is not spectacular and a bit tight, otherwise I would gladly have given 5 stars.

Oh ! What a find this was , hidden inconspicuously on the corner of the old town square this little gem has a rooftop terrace which we were shown to , and the food was delightful, quick service with tasty nanbread and a delicious delightful bhuna , will go back if I’m in Albufeira old town again , loved it.

We saw the reviews and decided to go here as we love Indian food. We were welcomed by friendly staff and shown to a table. Our waiter was Surrindra and he was so lovely and helpful. He was pleasant and nothing was too much trouble....we thought he was great! The food arrived and it was really tasty, we sat inside by the window and watched the street as it was buzzing. There is also a roof Terrance if you prefer to sit outside. If you like Indian food you should come here....great food, great staff and excellent customer service. 5 stars!!

Always a good place with friendly staff, nothing is too much annoyed. the beer and the wee are great. the atmosphere is brilliant.
