Mr Chippy - Loulé

We read such glowing reviews of “Mr Chippy” and had a hankering for our first fish and chips in Portugal and searched high and low for this restaurant in downtown Vilamoura, but to no avail! Only one longtime resident was able to give us THE BAD NEWS! Mr Chippy no longer existed so we were “forced” to eat piri-piri chicken! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOSO!!

We felt that they are preparing fresh sea food. we tried fish chips, this chips was not crispy, i dont know why. other than chips, fish and cakes are good.

Came her for takeaway fish and chips. The place is very popular so you may have to wait but you can sit and have a drink relax. Alternatively you can ring in your order in advance. Battered fish particularly good.

Cheap and cheerful Fish and chip shop. That's what Mr chippy is. Yes, there are plastic chairs and the interior/exterior isn't that great but its mainly for take-aways so why would you notice. I didn't have fish but I had a battered sausage. A little too much batter for my taste but the chips were good, and lovely and salty. could have done with a couple of sachets of vinegar or mayonnaise to go with but pleasant enough
