El Nopal

We had a nice rosy the new location good was tasty my Carnitias were perfect. Two tall draft in ice cold mugs. Great atmosphere.

So I accidentally went to this Mexican restaurant because my GPS to me to this restaurant instead of one with a similar name, and boy am I glad I went inside! The outside could use a major uplift but inside the atmosphere is very welcoming and very colorful. The tables and bathroom looked clean but more importantly the food was very tasty! I ordered the combo fajita which was great, but I wish the beef was cut in slices as that's how it's traditionally served, instead of shredded little pieces. Overall, very good, I'll come back again soon!

Happier and happier every time we go. We arrived a few minutes short of 3:00, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We sat on the bar side which was quiet but we were attended to frequently! We were expecting to order off the dinner menu because we ordered after 3:00 and the lunch menu ended at that time . Most restaurants wouldn't even offer the choice to order off the lunch menu after 3:00, but the server gave us the choice. We both selected the dinner portion as the food is too good to pass up. I chose of my favorites, chicken flautas. My boyfriend got the chicken chimichanga. The food was brought to the table less than 10 minutes after we ordered, how can you possibly beat that kind of service? We were checked on twice, drinks were refilled and lunch was fantastic. I can't recommend this location enough!

Very pleased with the service and quality of our food today, in spite that today is Valentines Day. My wife and I called in our Carryout order and was told that it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes and it was ready when my wife arrived. They had plenty of employees working and ready to handle your needs as you walk in the door. The food was delicious and pricing was very reasonable. We recommend eating at this El Napal on Preston Hwy in the Hillview area. Happy Valentines Day to everyone

Very reliable location for a well known Louisville chain. This particular location is very consistent with good service and great food. Very clean and tables are cleared fast! Good deals on margaritas and free chips and salsa. The owner/manager always asks how everything went and goes out of his way to make sure guests are accommodated. Even when the place is packed, food is out quickly!
