Bidrage med feedbackNo bad visit here. I've eaten many pizza spots here in Louisville, but this is my place. Sometimes I would find a reason to drive from Knox to eat here.
Order of 18 inch cheese pizza and garlic knots. Both were absolutely phenomenal. Flavor was on site, food was hot, staff was very friendly and accommodated when I asked for side articles and napkins. Definitely recommend trying both. Not from the area, but my next trip will be back.
The first time here, got a veggie and a Brooklyn, both excellent. The pizza, the atmosphere, all about this place is wonderful. I think about the weekend burgers on Nat'l Turnpike. Will come back every time I'm on this side of the city.
The food was good, but it felt more like a New York Subway instead of a restaurant. Sad to say.
Called and ordered two pizza?s for take out. I showed up and they had only made one pizza. I told them the order was wrong, there were two pizza?s. The guy behind the counter said they only had one pizza. I asked if it was $47.40 for one pizza. Then the guy looked it up and said there were two pizzas with ?extra enchilada sauce?. I said no, I ordered two pizzas, both with extra sauce because he did not have ?enchilada sauce?. He apologized and said he could make me another pizza but it would be 10-15 minutes. I told him, no, he could make me two, both with extra sauce, or I would never order pizza there again. I wanted to have the two fresh pizza?s, with the extra sauce that I ordered and paid for. To my chagrin, I got home and found the one pizza was the original. It was cold, tasted like cardboard. I am not sure how much the one pizza cost them but I guarantee it will cost them more than the one pizza they did not make fresh for me. Also, I am not sure if anyone has ever heard of a ?Net-Promoter? at Old School NY, but someone there should look it up if they do not know. I will tell every single person who ever asks about my experience and tell them to order from somewhere else. I promise you will lose money for not making this right. It is the principle of the matter. Maybe I am old and cranky, but I like my food fresh and hot. Also, the place I work, orders food for the employees two days a week and our office is less than a mile away from Old School. We spend more than $1000.00 per month on delivery. Guess where I will make sure we never order from? And yes, ownership, if you want to make it right, feel free to contact me. Your employees are costing you business. If you don?t care, that?s fine too.
