La Sierra Mexican - Louisville

I just had my first experience at this restaurant, and I've found my new favorite Mexican spot! The hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I ordered my meal to go and received it in less than 10 minutes. I'm excited to return and bring some friends with me!

**Excellent and Clean Mexican Cuisine**: The menu features a variety of delicious options, including tacos, tortas, mojarra, and consomé (beef soup with vegetables or seafood). You must try the molcajete with nopal and grilled onions, as well as the shrimp cocktail – both are fantastic! Their homemade drinks, especially the aguas frescas, are a highlight; my personal favorites are horchata, tamarindo, and jamaica. Don’t forget to check out their store through the left door, which shares the same name. They offer an impressive selection of fresh products and more than you can imagine!

I stopped by for a quick lunch and tried the pollo quesadilla, which was absolutely delicious! It was a unique take on the typical quesadilla, served with a flavorful tomato sauce and some onions. I really enjoyed it. They also offer an avocado and jalapeño cream dip, alongside a fantastic house salsa. Overall, a great meal!
