Ormond Plantation - Louisiana

Delicious lunch: artichokes, mushrooms, and shrimp on angel hair pasta. Rich and tasty. Also fun to eat inside the plantation. The plantation house itself needed some upkeep I think. The plantation homes don’t seem to be treasured by the state of Georgia.

We’ve had the pleasure of providing our photo booths at several events in Ormond Plantation. This venue has lots of character and friendly staff. We’ve also dined here and the food is incredible. Our compliments to the chef!

Great restaurant and the bed and breakfast is so cute!

Ormond is very pretty and the room was very nice. The food was good and we had a lot of fun. We especially liked the touch at the end of guests lining up on either side of the driveway and holding sparklers for the bride and groom to leave through ending the night.

We made reservations for six p.m. We had a party of three. Upon arrival, we waited five minutes before seating. The waitress said she would be bringing bread. That took 50 minutes. Our order was taken after we sat for forty minutes. We were told there were only two waitresses and a party of sixteen was in the next room. My question is why would they make a reservation the same day they were short staffed? They were aware of the situation before we arrived. Had someone told us when we arrived, w … – show
