Mellor's Family - LOUDONVILLE

I had to create a Zomato account just because I completely disagree with this bad evaluation of Mellor's Family Restaurant. I was out yesterday when I stopped at this Mom Pop Shop for lunch. Even when I came in from the back door, the staff welcomed me cordially and told me wherever I liked to sit. I realized that this is really a Mom Pop Shop, as everyone else knew. Before I picked up my gloves, the waitress was at my table and asked what I would like to drink. The coffee was better than most, and there were many creamers on the table. I ordered their 'Zim Burger ' French Fries $6, which is like a Bigmac, only with better ingredients, more beef and a mild horseradish sauce instead of 1000 island. Yummy! The fries were freshly cut, but crispy. Yummy! The waitress was attentive without being in trouble, and the place was very clean. My only complaint is that my waitress didn't bring me my food. Someone else from the kitchen. But for $7.00 this was a great lunch!

Price was reasonable and my hamburgers and onion rings were really good. Had to be done with a piece of elder cake. Place was full of regular and very cozy.

Beautiful family restaurant where you have a decent meal for a reasonable price. Since this is a tourist area, this is a plus. Service was prompt and very home friendly. Nothing nice about the decor, but what I expected. I'll return when I'm in the area in the future.

This is a great place to go easy and have a nice meal. Good food. Always clean, the people who work there are always really nice, even if it really busy during the camping season. Prices are so low that we feel guilty.

We were camping at Mohican Adventures in Loudinville and stopped for breakfast. We got eggs and pancakes and they were made quickly and tasted wonderful! Great food, Wonderful service and prices very reasonable! Will definitely be going back there!
