Loudon Country Club

I had my first experience at this course and only played the front nine. The layout is quite intriguing, with many elevated tees and greens, and the course was in excellent condition. The terrain is very hilly, and we walked on a hot, humid day, so I would recommend using a cart. I highly recommend this course if you’re in the area and wanting to play a round.

I visited on one of the lovely warm October nights and enjoyed the outdoor patio. The service was good, the prices were reasonable, and the food was decent—nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the chicken marsala, which was fine, and the others at my table felt similarly about their meals. The atmosphere was enjoyable, especially when a band started playing after sunset. The drinks were great, and the location is fantastic.

Fantastic 18-hole course in Loudon. There’s a small warm-up green available, as well as a clubhouse that offers food and a bar. The course features a nice variety of challenging shots.

I played at Loudon Country Club for the first time, and I was impressed. The course is in excellent condition from the tee to the pin. It offers both a challenge and a fair play experience, featuring narrow fairways with water hazards and wooded areas ready to catch errant shots. Make sure to keep your shots straight. The greens are beautifully maintained and have a lot of undulation, making it tricky to judge speed and breaks. Be prepared for a few three-putts! There's also a cozy 19th hole clubhouse where you can grab sandwiches and drinks after your game. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I definitely plan to play there again.
