Carmichael Inn - Loudon

Hoping to get served faster, I decided to go to the bar, where I found six of my friends at a ten-seat bar. I asked the bartender if we could get our food quicker there, but she replied, "I don't really know." To my surprise, she turned out to be the owner. How can an owner not know how their own business operates? After waiting for about 15 minutes, the owner came over and asked if we wanted to order food, but I said no. We decided to leave instead. It's a shame because the place had potential.

The food is consistently excellent. The catfish is exceptional, and I highly recommend it. The waitstaff is always respectful, friendly, and pleasant. It's a great family restaurant, but I feel it leans more towards being a cozy spot for couples. I appreciate that, as it's usually just my wife and me, and we really enjoy dining there.

Wonderful staff! Food was fantastic. The drinks were amazing. All in all a great experience! I have eaten here many times. It was such a great experience that I applied for a job. So come in and see us Tuesday thru Saturday ?

Was very happy with our choice to eat here for the first time on a Saturday evening. Our server, Abbi, was very efficient and the food was delicious. Portions size was very adequate and was served timely. Prices were very reasonable. No complaints. Will eat here again! By the way, the inn was built in 1821 and is very beautiful. There was a man playing live music in bar area which was a nice addition.
