Laodi Mekong - Louang Namtha

Very chilled rum bar, with view of the river. Good music and bar staff. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic small bar. great view of the mekong for sunsets. it is led by the firma laodi around so that they can try all their different arounds.

On the laodi bar I stumbled while making the way down the less popular end of the mekong, I found this one of the best bars in vientiane on all fronts. in old sheets with a chic-industrial view of the disintegrating cascade of a former hotel, including graffiti, this bar is owned by laodi agricole, a Japanese lao rum distillery in the provinces vientiane. they say what they are of gentrification, the friendly, knowledgeable staff, including a wonderful Japanese bar manager quality products, and fantastic outsight at sunset make this a guaranteed winner. it surprises me that this one has flew under the radar so far, destined to be a hit with the western crowd.
