Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere here is pretentious and haughty, and the cocktails are not only overpriced but also watered down. I'm left wondering why I came back; it hasn't changed since 2001. If you're looking for overpriced drinks, arrogant staff, and a crowd of entitled patrons, this is the spot for you. Someone should inform the management that just because you're in a city full of wealthy people doesn't mean you can treat non-regulars like second-class citizens.
Overall, it's a reliable and reasonably priced restaurant. Tiffany, who works during the day, is fantastic and always makes you feel welcome; I've consistently enjoyed my time here during the daytime. However, my experiences at night have been a bit hit or miss. Ray is great, but it can get pretty crowded, so it's best to arrive early if you want to secure a seat. The place attracts a diverse and eclectic crowd. Unfortunately, one of the bartenders, Garrett, can be quite unpleasant and seems to have a chip on his shoulder, so I avoid going in when he's on shift.
This place is ok but the blonde bartender is rude and aggressive. She seemed extremely bitter and was just very unfriendly. Also parts of the place reek of cigarettes and sewage…
They have a wooden front window. You can't see through it. So that's minus one star I guess.
Carry Nations is a great bar that attracts a diverse crowd. There's ample seating available, and they offer happy hour specials on both drinks and food. One added bonus is its location, conveniently situated across from Pizza My Heart, making it easy to grab an affordable slice between drinks. I've visited with larger groups, and it never felt overcrowded. However, the restrooms are located downstairs, which can be a bit tricky after a few drinks—be careful on your way down! The drink prices are slightly higher than what I’m used to, but considering it’s Los Gatos, that's to be expected—welcome to Lo$ Gato$ pricing!
