Quail Wine Bistro - Los Banos

This is a rare gem... Hidden away in the middle of everything ....is what this place is! Michael the owner, is so warm and inviting and the food is fresh every day! Different soups are made daily, with local sausages that make the best Boffa Sandwich .....which is locally made! Shane is the chef there, and nothing is too much for him to create the perfect meal for you. There are vegan and gluten free options, which are great! Great wine selection there also! My husband and I love it there.

We had lunch in this beautiful little place on the way to San Francisco. Very good service, fair prices, nice menu with many vegan meals and many daily specialties. The sandwiches and salads we had were very good and refreshingly different from those you usually get in a restaurant. I can only recommend to everyone to come here if you happen to Los Banos!

This place is great. Little town. Good home kitchen. A good alternative to company franchise restaurants. You have grill and vegetarian options. I had a mushroom and pepper sandwich. It came with a large potato and green beans salad with Vinaiigrette (not mayonnaise). I recommend it. Enjoy!

Big little jewel on the way from Bay Area to the mountains... We enjoyed all food and wine. Excellent quality, very good service and good prices. You can take a book from her bookcases and read it while you wait.
