Bidrage med feedbackI am a traveler, coming from Seattle and I was recommended to try this place. So first off, the name has changed and is under new management. It's now called chehel sotun or 40 columns referring to the monument in Esfahan, Iran! The food here tastes fantastic and the quality is very high. Ghorme sabzi, the most famous Iranian dish, which is very difficult to make was fantastic and I highly recommend it. It was served the way I have had it as a kid in Iran. The koobideh was fresh, but ordinary.Nothing special. The barg was soft and delicious. I would recommend this place as it is very beautiful, and the food is great! Definitely try the ghorme sabzi, it will be one of the best you have had!
This restaurant is mouth watering delicious. Their specialty is Persian’s foods. It’s a little of a beaten path but it’s a hidden gem. I have only been here during lunch time and they don’t get to busy. They told me it’s more of a dinner and banquet hall place crowd. We chose the lunch special, it come with the following...Let’s start with the Persian’s tea, it’s smell amazing, taste delicious, and very smoothing. Come with free refills. Then a side salad with homemade dressing. Next was the good portion and nice texture (not too smooth, a bit grainy) Hummus’s. It was serve along a perfectly toasted Pita bread. Finally you have choice of beef or chicken ground beef kabobs with rice and grilled tomatoes. We we have had both and I can tell you we have never been disappointed. The meet are the best quality meats. It’s very flavorful. The rice is nice and seasoned. This is supposed to be lunch but the portions are Definitely dinner sizes. The service is fantastic. We have been her many time and they have never disappointed us. The service is impeccable.
I bought a Groupon for two Beef Shish Kabobs dishes for two people. I used to eat here quite often but that was years ago and it started to become overpriced for the quality and customer service so I stopped. But seeing such a great deal on Groupon i just had to try it again. Take Out WAIT TIME: I placed my to go order at 9pm on Saturday night (10/7/17). It was ready to pick up at 10:15pm. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant at that time was jammed packed and upbeat. There was a live performance going on at that time; it was an Iranian musician on stage and he had the majority of the diners out of their seats, singing and dancing. Everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time. FOOD: My Take Out order: 2 beef shish kabobs plates (each came with rice and a roasted tomato) FANTASTIC 1 Tahdeg (crispy rice) with Ghameh (lentil bean and beef stew) OVER COOKED OVERALL: I'll eat there again especially with a Groupon.
What A Delight? I have Not had Persian Food in such a long time and Honestly, it was a pleasure to be dining at the Shah Abbas restaurant in the Beverly Center area of Los Angeles. For Dinner, I had the following which Included: Kashke Bademjan Salad Shirazi Salad Olivieh Karafs Stew Adas Polo And For Dessert I had...
