Secret - Los Angeles

This Mexican restaurant is a disappointment. We were trying to go to the restaurant in front, but ended up at the one in the back called *Secret*. The food, service, prices, and atmosphere were all subpar. We ordered wings that were tiny, overcooked, and had a terrible tasting chili sauce. Even the carrots tasted strange. The ranch dressing was watered down. We were glad we didn't order more food. They automatically add an 18% gratuity to the bill, likely to ensure they still get a good tip even if the service is lacking. We left most of our food uneaten and hungry, but excited for our show. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard put on an amazing performance!

Secret was an amazing way to experience dining in Los Angeles. The atmosphere was fantastic! The music and food were excellent. It was a bit cold that night, but they had individual heaters at every table so we were cozy and content.

Our bartender Chris was super fun! He engaged with us, and he even made me a fun drink that was really good! I had a burger and waffle fries. The fries were crispy and the burger was juicy and good! My friend and I had a good time! It was pretty empty when we went around 7pm, but that’s how I prefer it!
