Bidrage med feedbackThe most unique vegan sandwich that I have ever had. They also have gluten-free bread for sensitive folks.Great flavor and texture. I had curry and pb&j today but i wishes to have a bigger tummy to try them all. Great spot in LA for quick snack.
Really great concept and place! I got the Ol’ Fashioned, which has pecan butter and it was fantastic. At first, I would have given a lower rating because I placed an order and they basically forgot about my order. I was waiting for a while and noticed that the people after me had not only gotten their sandwich, but finished eating it too. So I went up to the cashier and asked if my order was ready. In a panic he realized they had forgotten about it. I was pretty disappointed.Moments later, the worker (manager? handed me and my friend two free almond milk drinks to compensate for the mistake. That definitely made up for it and shows that they have a good business model. Will definitely come back next time I am in LA!
It was great to see that this place uses coconut sugar and the menu offers very nice variety of pb sandwiches, but...but I d like to emerge a hygienic habits of the staff. The girl was a very nice person, but she didn 't change her gloves walking from cash desk to the corner where she was going to make my sandwich, with the same gloves she took a piece of bread and started to make it without any hesitation. Then other customer comes in the middle of this process. She comes to them and press the button on display, touches the screen with the same gloves. Then she turns back to make another sandwich meanwhile mine is toasting, then something falls on the floor and she picks it up with the same gloves. Then she hands me my sandwich...I didn 't eat the outside bread and just ate the banana jam with peanut butter and chocolate chips 'Elvis ' filling). It was not bad but I 've totally refused to eat the bread because of the past events. That 's not okay and I think should be addressed. So please, tell the staff there and pressure them to change their habits because their gloves are not for them or the fashion but for our food. I d gladly come back if this was changed. But till then I am not feeling safe to eat there...
PBJ.LA Los Angeles5.20/10 Review: this is just bougie Smuckers PBJ. The way I slather my peanut butter and jelly on my soft toasted buns is def better nilIts trendy here and definitely like the creativity of the flavors. I don't think its worth like 7 9 dollars for the pbj tho
I was ultimately a bit disappointed by PBJ LA. I ordered the Elvis toasted. It was fine, nothing special and honestly I feel like despite all of the fun added ingredients, I'd rather just have a regular old pb&j at home.Flavor was just ok, the sandwiches themselves are very small and overpriced. I was left wanting more and felt unsatisfied.Service was great and the gang working behind the counter were knowledgeable and super helpful.
