Meizhou Dongpo - Los Angeles

The duck was kind of dry for the price. It came super fast and we were the first diners so it shouldn't have been fresh. It wasn't juicy. All the others were good.

The duck is the best in this country. Aubergines and green beans also wonderful. A great meal.

No reservation required, it is in a food dish. Ambient is not the same as in Arcadia (high ceiling and beautiful covered deck tables. All dishes were served simultaneously, and the appetizer was last served. What was that?

We ordered the duck, two cold dishes and about 8 other hot dishes. The food is authentic and was good . The service was not very good. The restaurant itself especially the sticky floor and the bathroom needed a good cleaning. So go for the food but not the atmosphere.

Our wedding anniversary prompted me to want to try this restaurant, as I enjoyed their Arcadia restaurant last year. The service was excellent and the Peking Duck was as savory as I remember. I always order a whole duck, as it's cheaper overall and I can enjoy leftovers at home. A perfect way to enjoy 32 years of marriage!
