LA Louisanne Creole Cuisine

I've been coming to his place for years to listen to live music on Friday, with a free buffet from 5 am to 6 pm. I learned from her 2 red beans and rice with roasted chicken on Monday and Thursday. There we had beans and rice are so delicious, along with chicken for $2 you can't go wrong. If you go on Thursday night, they have a live jazz band.

I've been going to this place for 25 years and the service is very terrible. I always try to give them chances and their just terrible. Sa wait for service in a half empty place and could simply not get service. I stole my family here and I will never return. Even the conversation sucks. I'm sorry, I'm not sorry again.

We visited Los Angeles from San Diego on the weekend of the 10th. March, which was my friend's birthday. I've never heard of La Louisanne, but my friend was here several times. We came here for birthday dinner on Saturday, 11 March. If you move into the parking lot, there is a $6.00 parking fee for Valet or you need to park on the street. We came to an early dinner at 16:30 and there were maybe 5 cars in the game. The Valet visitor indicated that we stopped and he demanded $6.00 and we came out of the car and he pulled my car into the parking lot that I wanted to pull in. When we left the restaurant, I asked my keys because my car in the first. Place was parked. It didn't make sense that Valet moved my car. When we came to the restaurant, a young girl greeted us and sat at a high level towards the bar. This place is dated with neon lights and mirrors, but I liked the old vibe and music game was great. I hate seeing no band playing, but I'm going to return for it. I ordered the fried red snapper with crispy greens and Mac and cheese and salad. The food was DELICIOUS. My friend ordered the combo plate consisting of a small bowl of rubber, dirty rice, jambalaya, red beans, fried chicken and a salad. He enjoyed his food. They give really good portions. We assumed what we couldn't finish in our hotel. I recommend La Louisanne and will be back!

It is a cool and catchy atmosphere, more so for 40, I suggest when large groups come to work other ppl. They were short staff (1 bartender, 1 waiter and 1 to greet and seat), we had a party of 25. We were basically the staff... the waitress Dennisha was SUPERB! She deserves a hella lifting cause she did that BY HERSELF, and that is what she has 4 stars. Service was great from her! I come back without a big group and see how it goes!

A dirty,raggedy,nasty,hole in the wall.Would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.Needs to be on Bar Rescue with Jon Taffer.Needs to close down and be Renovated.The waitress doesn 't even know the menu,I asked for Shrimp Scampi,she said I don 't think we serve that here.Would you like Shrimp and Fries.So I pointed to shrimp scampi on the menu and she said, oh .Never did I get it.Iwas and am so disappointed.SMH
