Kinjiro - Los Angeles

We had an amazing meal at Kinjiro! We made an e-mail reservation a few weeks ahead of time and it was easy. For 3 people, we ordered the Uni, Ikura, Scallop Blue Crab shooters, Sashimi Salad (Hokkaido Scallops, King Salmon) w/ Blue Crab, Grilled Spanish Octopus, Grilled Thick-cut Beef Tongue, Bone Marrow Dengaku, Uni Risotto, and Truffles Organic Mushrooms Creamy Udon Noodles. We were definitely stuffed at the end of it. Everything was so delicious and cooked nicely. The beef tongue is so tender and the bone marrow is juicy and fatty. Loved the creaminess of the risotto and udon.

This place is sooo delicious! From the vibe of the restaurant to the vast array of delicious sushi and Japanese items, Kinjiro is on the top of my list! My favorite was the bone marrow. I've never seen this at a sushi restaurant and that's the great thing about this place, it is unique and different. Highly recommend Kinjiro for your sushi fix!

We looked through past people's reviews and saw the most popular items were the uni, ikura, crab shooter, the agedashi tofu, beef tongue, uni risotto, and truffle and mushroom udon so we got all of these! All were so good but if I came back again, I would definitely order the uni shooter, beef tongue and udon again. The agedashi tofu and uni risotto was a little on the salty side which made it a little repetitive once eating too many bites but definitely still good to try. The uni shooter was so good each bite and big enough to share among two people in my opinion. The beef tongue was cooked just the right amount of time and the yuzu sauce was the perfect combination with the beef. Lastly, the udon was just the right amount of creamy in each bite and well portioned. Our server was very attentive and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Be sure to call or email to reserve a time since they don't have too many tables inside they're pretty responsive via email!

Amazing food and spectacular service. I love that the server recommended the uni risotto, saying that it was the best thing in the menu, and he was TOALLY right. The Wagyu was amazing and everything that came out was awe inducing. I came here for my birthday and it was a great experience. Prices are on the higher side, but the flavorful and fresh ingredients matched the value you receive. I'll definitely be back on a special occasion. 4.25/5

Incredible. Nothing short of perfection. Kinjiro requires a reservation in advance but was able to secure my friends and I a spot while I came to visit them. Like the other reviews, the staff was AMAZING, polite, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. The wagyu was more than a delight and the best meat I've had to date. If you're considering this restaurant pull the trigger; It's worth it.
